Docplanner becomes first new member of the Coalition for Trusted Reviews

Docplanner Group, the world's biggest healthcare booking platform, has officially joined the cross-industry alliance committed to protecting the integrity of online reviews.

As the first new member to join the Coalition, Docplanner represents the wide-ranging diversity of the online review ecosystem. Operating in the highly sensitive healthcare space, Docplanner brings a distinctive and invaluable perspective to the group. With over 260,000 medical professionals on its platform and 22 million appointments booked monthly across 13 countries in Europe and Latin America, the company plays a crucial role in shaping how consumers engage with reviews that directly impact their health and wellbeing.

Michał Pękała, VP Growth & Patient Care at Docplanner Group said:

“Trusted reviews are essential to helping people make confident, informed choices – especially when it comes to healthcare. At Docplanner, we are committed to providing reliable, transparent information to help patients connect safely with the right healthcare professionals.

Joining the Coalition for Trusted Reviews is a natural step for us, and we are excited to collaborate with coalition members on initiatives that raise the bar for review integrity.”

Founded in 2023, the Coalition for Trusted Reviews is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the integrity of online reviews. The Coalition works to tackle fake reviews which undermine consumers’ ability to make informed choices through collaborative initiatives and sharing best practice. Each year, its efforts culminate in the annual conference, which this year will be held on October 15, in New York. The conference brings together the world’s leading review platforms, tech firms that host reviews, consumer stakeholders, policy makers and regulators, to discuss the global review landscape. This year, priority areas will include AI and reviews, the role of social media and influencers, and the consumer voice in the review space.

Anoop Joshi, Executive Committee member of Coalition for Trusted Reviews and Chief Trust Officer at Trustpilot said:

“We are delighted to welcome Docplanner as the first new member of the Coalition. Their leadership in the healthcare sector brings critical insights to our work and will enhance the Coalition's collective impact. Docplanner's experience of managing sensitive reviews will strengthen our shared mission to uphold trusted reviews for the benefit of all consumers.”

As a member of the Coalition for Trusted Reviews, Docplanner will play an active role in ongoing advocacy efforts to uphold the highest standards of integrity in user-generated content. Their involvement will also support broader initiatives to deter bad actors and strengthen trust across the online review ecosystem.
